The Marie

The Marie, named after Marie Antoinette and her famous quote (or mis-quote depending which history books you read) ‘Let them eat cake!”, features a print of delicious slices of cake. The colours of which are picked up in the bold red and pink striped lining. Now you can always have a sweet treat with you whilst crafting.

The Marie features a flat base, quilted outer and a sturdy cotton drawstring to keep your projects safe and sound.

Every project bag is carefully handcrafted in my West Wales studio using the vintage sewing machine I inherited from my Grandma.

Available in two sizes, the Littler Marie is ideal for socks, hats and kerchiefs, (it’ll hold around 300 grams of yarn) while the Bigger Marie will suit your shawls and summer tops (it’ll hold around 400-500 grams).

Each one is made with care by a maker, for a maker.
